The EPE-5818af is an 802.3af compliant PoE injector with two Fast Ethernet ports – one port for a connection to an Ethernet switch and the other for connection to a PoE-enabled device. The injector delivers both data and electrical power to PoE-enabled devices using a single Ethernet CAT6 cable enabling network administrators to connect and power VoIP (Voice-over-IP) phone systems or to mount Wireless Access Points and IP Cameras in ceilings or in crawlspaces or where power outlets may not be available.
